Based in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, Judge Lawrence Army spent several decades in leadership positions at several Worcester-based law firms throughout his career, with a focus on a number of different practice areas, including family law, criminal defense, and real estate. He additionally served as an associate justice with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. In this position, Judge Lawrence Army oversaw more than 1,000 cases involving estate matters, divorce law, guardianship, and other family law proceedings.
Following his retirement as a judge, Lawrence Army established Concili8, LLC, a Shrewsbury-based alternative dispute resolution practice emphasizing private adjudication, conciliation, and mediation services. Leveraging his extensive judicial experience, he has supported settlements in many high-stakes family law and probate scenarios. He balances his professional activities with his position on the Greg Hill Foundation Board of Directors.
Judge Army was a member of the Communications Honor Society at Seton Hall University, and a recipient of the Student Leadership Award. Before earning his law degree from Suffolk University Law School, he spent time as a member of the Moot Court Board and the Insurance Law Division.
